Outcomes

Techniques that could minimise your fuel burn
Operators will learn to analyse their skills, eliminate bad habits and build onto existing skills so that they can make better use of their resources.
Participants will leave the training with a personal improvement action-plan, which they define during the training and focuses on their individual skill set.

Entry requirements

Good skills and knowledge of any of the following machines:
excavators, wheel loaders and track-type tractors.

Content

This course explains the foundation and background of components that influence and contribute to more fuel-efficient machine operation.
In this, hands-on application module, participants are guided to operate machines in real-life environment to practise the learned skills so they can apply them on the job after training completion.

Course delivery

Course will be delivered at CIVT Clayton Campus.
Level 1, 57-59 Nantilla Road, Clayton, VIC, 3168.

Duration

One-day course.
Split into a four-hour theory session in the morning followed by four hour Practical on equipment.
