Apprenticeship training
The apprentice training delivered at the Caterpillar Institute provides a new
benchmark for apprentice training. Our industry specific learning programs
utilise new and emerging technologies with immediate access to machines,
components and simulators that will reinforce learning.
The learning resources utilised throughout all our apprentice
courses are developed through close consultation with industry and give
apprentices the most comprehensive trade qualification available in Australia.
All materials are continuously reviewed and updated in order to keep up
with ever changing technology and processes and ensure relevancy.
Our facilities are equipped with the equipment and tooling required
to ensure that apprentices have the same exposure during training as they
do in the workplace while on-the-job. All apprentice programs expose apprentices
to technical, technological, business and interpersonal competencies.
